  What are active projects?

  Basecamp projects can either be active or archived. Active projects are projects in progress. They're projects you are working on. Archived projects are projects you've finished. Archived projects can't be modified. You can archive or activate a project whenever you'd like, but the number of active projects you can have at one time depends on which Basecamp membership plan you're using.
  
  Note: The free account only includes one project total. You can't archive projects on the free account.

  What's the storage for?

  File storage allows you to share and upload files, documents, pictures, audio, or video to your Basecamp account. The higher your plan, the more storage is included. If you ever run out of space you can upgrade your plan.

• Unlimited users
  What's a user?

  Users can be people in your company or your clients. Users can log in and use Basecamp together with you to collaborate on projects. All Basecamp plans include unlimited users and contacts. There are no per-user fees.

• Time tracking
  What is time tracking?

  Basecamp Time Tracking allows you to keep track of how much time your group is spending on tasks. You can run reports on individual people, date ranges, or total aggregate time across all projects.

• Enhanced security
  What is enhanced security?

  All Basecamp accounts are password protected and include SSL encryption for your security. SSL stands for Secure Socket Layer, but what it really means is that the data sent between Basecamp and your computer is safely encrypted from prying eyes. It's the same technology that online banks and e-commerce sites use to keep your credit card information safe.
